Halushki (Cabbage & Noodles) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 head cabbage (small head)
  • 1 onion, chopped (small)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 package wide noodles
Directions
Chop or shred cabbage very fine. Saut in butter until very tender. Cook noodles, separately, according to package directions. Drain noodles and add to cabbage. Add more butter if necessary to get a slightly fried look to the noodles. This dish works best with a heavy aluminum skillet or chicken fryer. If taking to an event, dish can be made the day before & heated in a 350 oven with some butter cut through.
