Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
In a heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients except vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture forms a soft ball. Then add vanilla and let mixture cool to lukewarm. Beat mixture until creamy. Pour into buttered 8x8 pan and cut into squares.
