MICROWAVE TURKEY STUFFING Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 10 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (more if needed)
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
Directions
Cook sausage, set aside. Melt butter, add onion, celery, and apple. Cook 7 minutes (covered). Stir in sausage and seasonings. Add egg, bread crumbs, and broth. Cook 8 minutes (covered). Let stand 10 minutes.
