Brisket with cranberry, crockpot Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 whole brisket
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (medium jar)
  • 2 onion soup mix pouches
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cranberry can water if cooking inch oven, 1/4 to 1/2 can if making inch slow cooker/crock-pot
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder (optional)
Directions
Make ahead of time.

Place brisket in pan/slow cooker/crock-pot. Salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with garlic powder.

Add other ingredients over top of brisket.

Cover tightly with aluminum foil and roast at 350°F for 3 hours and 15 minutes, or until tender. Alternatively, cook in slower cooker/crock-pot on low until tender.

Slice brisket thinly and place in a pan. Cover with sauce.

Freeze for later use or refrigerate. Slicing, freezing, and reheating it seems to make the meat more tender.
