Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 each ready-to-use pizza crust
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican style cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 hard taco shells
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Heat oven to 400°F.

Cook meat with taco seasoning mix as directed on package. Spoon salsa onto pizza crust. Spread meat onto pizza; top with cheese.

Bake 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.

Top with lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Crush taco shells; sprinkle over pizza. Drizzle with sour cream, if desired.

An easy and pleasing weeknight meal for the whole family. I bet making your own pizza is more budget friendly, too. Using the salsa as the pizza sauce is a great substitution. Use the salsa flavor and hotness that fits your family best.
