With the holidays approaching, you may find yourself with a little
leftover wine. When you have an open bottle that you are not going to finish, pour the wine into ice cube trays. Place the trays in the freezer and allow to freeze for later use. You may want to measure out how many tablespoons you are pouring in each cube so that when you take them from the freezer to use in a recipe calling for wine, you will know how many cubes you will need. Once the cubes are frozen you can pop them out of the tray and place the frozen cubes in a sealable bag and store them in the freezer until you need them.
