Chill Wine and Champagne Quickly

Sometimes during the holidays refrigerator space is at a minimum. Chilling your wine or champagne in a bucket of ice water is a quick way to chill it without having to find room for the bottles in the refrigerator or a freezer. Using a bucket of ice water rather than just ice will speed up the chilling process. This is also a good method to use for quickly chilling any type of beverages for any of your celebrations throughout the year. Be sure the bucket of ice water contains plenty of ice so that it doesn't melt too quickly. Note: You do not have to have an ice bucket to use this chilling method. A pail, stock pot, or large bowl will also work.
