A stuffed pasta made in the shape of an oval with a crimped top. The pasta dough is rolled out and cut into strips that are approximately 4 inches wide. 3 inch diameter circles of pasta are then cut from the strips. A teaspoon of filling is placed in the center of the circle and the edges are folded over toward the center forming an oval. To secure the filling, the overlapping edges are pinched together down the length of the oval, creating a raised dough with the appearance of a braided cloth.
