A common flavoring and liqueur produced as either a dark green or a clear colored mixture that provides a cool and refreshing mint flavor for beverages, baked goods and other food dishes. When produced as a flavoring, crème de menthe is available as a syrup to use as an ingredient when making desserts, or to use as a topping for ice cream, fruits, and puddings, or to use as a sweetener for juices, tea and other beverages. The liqueur can be served as an after dinner drink or it can be used as an ingredient in many other drinks, most notably a vodka stinger.
