A kitchen utensil generally made of wood, which is used to evenly distribute the crępe batter as it is spread over flat-bottomed pans. This tool is approximately 6 inches wide with a handle that is 6 to 8 inches long. Although not as common in the U.S., it is a tool that is often used in France to prepare thin crępes.
