"I have been making this cookie for a few years! It's my favorite Christmas cookie. A few tips-- make sure the mints are unwrapped and stacked so that you can put them on the cookies as fast as possible, more time for melting the chocolate.
Also, it depends of course on how big you make these cookies, but i have always put a full andes mint on my cookies, and they are usually 1 1/2" across when finished.
This means that i usually use 3 or 4 boxes of andes mint for 1 recipe. Unless you are making a large cookie and only putting 1/2 a mint on top I would imagine that you will need more than 1 box for this recipe."
