"I like the Hamilton beach round one and I use Miriams Earthen Cookware for the inserts or crocks as you call them. I prefer the MEC inserts because they're made of pure clay and have no metals leaching into my food, i need to be especially concerned because food is going to be cooking in these pots for a long time. The taste of the food cooked in these pure clay pots is great too. Would highly recommend them to everyone to get one for their kitchens... You have to season them separately before 1st use.
