IRISH STEW 5 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean meat
  • Salt, pepper, flour
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fat or oil
  • 2 potatoes - diced
  • 4 carrots - diced (small)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 turnip - diced
Directions
Sprinkle meat with salt, pepper and flour and brown with onion in fat.

Add water to meat.

Cover pan and cook slowly until meat is almost done, about 1 1/2 hours.

Add potatoes, carrots, and turnips and cook until tender - 20 - 30 minutes.

Add parsley
