Premo Pasta Toss Recipe

  • 1 package Premio Sweet Basil Italian Sausage, sliced 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1/4 olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 12 ounces sliced mushrooms (Baby Bella), rinsed
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 6 roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 10 to 12 basil leaves, chopped
  • Sea salt
  • 1 package angel hair pasta
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Heat large skillet, add olive oil, shallots and garlic. Saute 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add Italian sausage, saute 3-4 minutes, until sausage is browned on both sides.
  • Add mushrooms, white wine and stir.
  • Add sea salt to taste. Simmer uncovered 1-2 minutes until white wine is reduced to half.
  • Add roma tomatoes and chopped basil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Prepare packaged angel hair pasta and drain.
  • Serve sauce over angel hair pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.
