Beef and Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds sirloin steak
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons dry minced onion or 1/2 C chopped fresh
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 can mushroom pieces undrained
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/4 cup corn starch

  • Cut sirloin into cubes.
  • In a large fry pan brown meat in oil; add onion and garlic powder.
  • Cook until onions are tender; add soy sauce, mushrooms, bouillon, and 2 c water.
  • Cover and simmer 30 to 40 min until meat is tender.
  • Combine cornstarch with remaining water and add to meat mixture. Cook stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Serve over Rice or noodles.
