1 yellow cake mix
5 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Prepare cake mix and bake in 9 x 13 pan as directed on package.
Turn out of pan and cut in half horizontally with a string while cake still warm.
Mix flour and milk together and cook until thick, then allow it to cool.
Mix oleo, shortening, sugar, salt and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
Add this to the cooled mixture and again beat until fluffy.
Spread filling on top of half of the cake and then cover with the other half of the cake.
