Raised Doughnuts or Kuchen Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup lard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
Directions
Boil together and let cool. Dissolve 2 packages of yeast in 1 cup tepid water and 1 Tbsp. sugar.

Beat 3 eggs and enough flour for soft dough. Keep warm and after two kneading's make doughnuts or streusel cake.

Fry donuts in oil at 350° F.
