Hot & Spicy Party Mix Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bottle hot pepper sauce (1/4 teaspoon bottle)
  • 2 cups Corn Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups wheat chex cereal
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup Salted mixed nuts
Directions
Microwave directions: combine 1/2 cup butter in microwave with all spices. Mix well. Add Chex, nuts and pretzels. Mix until all pieces are coated. Place in microwave and cook on high for 2 minutes three times. Stir mix thoroughly between each 2-minute interval. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Yields approximately 9 cups.
