Turkey Dressing 4 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 cups day-old cornbread
  • 2 cups day-old biscuits
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped (optional)
  • 4 cups drippings from baked turkey, strained
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 3 chopped boiled eggs, optional
  • 1/2 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • Pinch of baking powder
Directions
Sauté onion and celery in butter. In a large bowl, crumble cornbread and biscuits. Add turkey drippings and stir. Add other ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
