Breaded Baked Fish Recipe

Enjoy fried fish without having to fry it. This baked fish is a great way to cook any type of white fish without any fuss.

  • 1 pound fish fillets
  • 1/2 cup oil, canola
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning

  • Pour oil into a medium size bowl. In another bowl, mix together bread crumbs and seasoning.
  • Slightly coat fish with oil and then coat with bread crumb mix.
  • Place fish into a 9" X 13" pan. After all fish has been added to the pan, take the remaining bread crumbs and distribute evenly onto the fish.
  • Bake in a preheated 400 degrees F. oven for 20 minutes.

"I love this recipe because it just has a coating of bread crumbs but what is even better is that it gets baked in the oven rather than fried. My husband goes fishing and brings home fish but I never want to make it because it is such a mess to fry it on the stove. Now we can enjoy his catch! I think it would be a great recipe for any type of white fish."
