Blintzes Recipe

  • 1 loaf white bread (small loaf)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick of butter
In one bowl, mix cream cheese and egg yolk together. In second bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together. In third bowl, melt butter. Take piece of sliced bread and cut off crust and press against table until flat (sort of like a pancake). Apply cream cheese and egg yolk mixture to one side. Roll up bread and brush with butter, then coat with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Repeat for each piece of bread. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden brown.
