  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 onion, grated

Put ingredients in a bowl and blend with mixer.

Refrigerate.

"I make this anytime I have company. The only thing I add is celery seed, about 1 teaspoon. And be sure to taste before adding the whole onion. Usually 1-2 tablespoons of grated onion is all I need."
