Lemon Jalapeno Chicken Recipe

HOT chicken with a lemon flavor.

Directions

Cut the zest off the lemon and dice as small as you can get it.
Cut open the jalapenos and remove all the seeds, dice jalapenos as small as you can (leave the seeds in for hotter chicken.)
In food processor, mix lemon zest, diced jalapenos, liquid smoke, basil, BBQ sauce, and lemon juice. Puree the mixture until you get a sauce looking mixture.
Place sauce and chicken in a plastic bag and let marinade for 3 hours.
Place marinated chicken in large skillet, use the left over marinade sauce and coat the chicken both sides, cook med-high 3-6 minutes each side or until no longer pink. Marinade sauce should almost make a breading on the chicken.
Remove from heat when chicken is fully cooked and enjoy.

-		3 jalapenos, diced
-		2 tablespoons liquid smoke
-		1 tablespoon basil
-		1/3 cup BBQ sauce
-		1/3 cup lemon juice
-		4 chicken boneless / skinless filets
