SLOW COOKER TURKEY BREAST Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 bone-in turkey breast (6 lb )
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix (1 ounce packet)
Directions
Rinse the turkey breast and pat dry. Leave the skin covering the breast. Rub onion soup over outside of the turkey and under the skin. Smear butter on the bottom and sides of the cooker. Place turkey breast in the slow cooker, skin side up. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour then set to low and cook for an additional 7 hours. Remember that each time you remove the lid for a peek, you will need to add another 20 minutes to the cooking time. Curb the urge to lift that lid. Servings: 6.
