Frozen Strawberry Chiffon Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups graham wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
Directions
Mix crumbs, sugar and butter, and press into 9x13 pan or 2 8" pie plates. In large bowl of electric mixer, put all other ingredients except whipping cream. Beat on high speed (cover as it will splatter and rise very high) for 15 minutes, until very high volume and glossy. Fold in whipped cream and pour over crust. Serve frozen. Very light, not too sweet dessert.
