Jalapeno Cream Cheese Wontons Recipe

These appetizers are made with only 4 ingredients but are full of flavor. The jalapeno adds the spicy bite where the cream cheese cools it right down with that creamy texture we all love.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese , softened
  • 4 ounces jalapeno peppers, finely diced
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

  • Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and jalapeno peppers. Arrange wonton wrappers a few at a time on a clean dry surface. Set a cup or small bowl of water nearby.
  • Place about a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each wrapper. Moisten your fingertip with water and trace the edges of the wonton wrappers. Fold into a triangle or follow directions on the package for desired shapes. Repeat until filling is gone.
  • Place on a lined baking sheet. Spray wontons with cooking spray and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Serve with the sweet chili sauce for dipping.
