Rolo Cookies Recipe

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup soft margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 package Rolo candies

  • In a large bowl, cream the sugar, brown sugar, and margarine.
  • Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
  • In another bowl, blend the flour, baking soda, and cocoa; then add this dry mixture to the creamed mixture.
  • Form the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375ºF for 7-10 minutes.
  • When you remove the cookies from the oven, place a Rolo candy in the center of each cookie; then allow the cookies to cool on wire racks.
