Homemade Canned Salsa 2 Recipe

  • 5 pounds tomatoes, blanched, peeled and cut up
  • 3 onions, chopped
  • 6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 3 green peppers, chopped
  • 3 cans tomato paste (small cans)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
Put all ingredients except vinegar in a large pot. Bring to a boil, add vinegar and bring back to a boil. Fills about 8 pint jars. Water bath for 15 minutes.
