Amish Honey Wheat Bread Recipe

  • 4 hot tap water
  • 3/4 canola oil
  • 3/4 brown sugar or honey
  • 2 1/2 salt
  • 2 lecithin
  • 4 whole wheat flour
Add all ingredients and let set. Put together 3 Tbsp. yeast in 2 cups warm water, let set 5-10 minutes. Then put to above mixture. Add enough high gluten flour (white) to make a soft sticky dough. Raise 3/4 to l hour. Punch down and let rise 15-30 minutes. Put in pans and bake when even or slightly above pans at 325° for 30 minutes
