Homemade Hush Puppies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups corn meal
  • 1/2 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • oil for frying
Directions
Combine all ingredients. Drop a teaspoon of batter into hot oil. May need to turn. Drain on paper towel.
