Cubed Steaks Recipe

  • 4 cubed steaks
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Mix the flour, salt and pepper together in flat bowl. Set aside. Break up 1 can cream of mushroom soup and water in casserole dish. Put oil and butter in a pan and melt on medium heat., then dip cubed steaks into flour mixture then place into oil and butter to brown both sides. After browning place into the casserole dish with the mushroom soup. Bake uncovered @ 350° for 35-40 minutes. You can this on how many you are going to have. Mixture makes great gravy after comes out of oven. Yield: 4 servings
