Carnitas

A traditional Mexican food dish that is served as both a main dish and as a filling for various food wraps. Carnitas are made with pork that is cooked in a broth with seasonings to make it moist and tender before being braised to add a crispy texture. The pork can then be served as the main meat dish or added as an ingredient for filling burritos, tacos and tamales.
