A thin pancake, similar to a crepe, that is made to become a food wrap that is filled with savory foods or sweet ingredients. After food is placed on the flat surface of the blintz, it is rolled or folded so the filling remains inside, and then traditionally sautéed in butter to provide a lightly browned exterior to pancake-textured wrap.
