Sour Cream

A dairy product, produced from pasteurized sweet cream, which has a thick creamy texture and a tangy flavor, due to the lactic acid that is added. It is used to enhance the flavor of sweet and savory dishes, and is often served as a condiment to be spread topping for potatoes, meats, and salads. Sour cream is not spoiled cream.
