An herb that resembles cilantro in its use but not in appearance. The cilantro leaves are delicately feathered where the quillquina leaves are solid and almond shaped. Quillquina, which has a light, citrus-like sharp scent and flavor, comes from Bolivia where it is used as an everyday seasoning. It is excellent when used in salsas and can be used anywhere that fresh cilantro would be used.
