"I used a good quality ham and diced it. I didn't use potatoes or tomatoes. The cumin is a nice touch. Just be careful not to over spice. Let the flavors of the ingredients meld together to create that wonderful flavor."

"I made this last week, June 08 . My wife and I sure liked it. Our sons birthday we are giveing him a slow cooker so he can make this. I will next try your Haarty Vegetable Beef Soup.By the way I am 77 years old and cookat home 4 days a week."
