Atomic Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups water - cold
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar

  • Mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt.
  • Add vanilla, cold water, and oil.
  • Beat well.
  • Add vinegar and fold into batter.
  • Pour into 2 lightly greased and floured 8" pans or one 9" X 13" pan.
  • Bake at 350° F for 45 minutes.
