Italian Beef Roast 2 Recipe

  • 6 - 8 lbs of rolled beef roast
  • 3 cups hot water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • dash of garlic
Place beef roast in a large roasting pan. Mix ingredients and pour over beef and cover. Bake for 5 to 6 hours in 300° oven. Cool. Slice for sandwiches, re-heat to serve. Warm remaining juices for dipping. Great to make the day before for parties or holidays.
