Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound butter (softened)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pound powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1 pound cake flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
Directions
Beat together butter, eggs (add one at a time) vanilla and salt until creamy. Add powdered sugar, cake flour, baking powder to above. Mix until creamy again. Pour into floured angel food cake pan. Bake at 300 for 1 1/2 hours.
