Dessert Bars 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (18.5 ounce box)
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, softened (1/2 cup stick)
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten (large)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 ounce package)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine cake mix, brown sugar, butter, eggs & vanilla with electric mixer. Mix on medium until well blended (it will be stiff).

Spread into greased 9 x 13" baking dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

Bake for 30 minutes (Do not over bake).

Cool and cut into bars
