Preheat oven to 350°. Put rack in middle of oven. Wrap foil around bottom of each ice cream cone and stand in muffin pan.
Place cake mix, water, oil, eggs and cinnamon in a large bowl and blend with electric mixer on low for 1 minute. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 more minutes.
Spoon 1/4 cup batter into each cone, filling it no more than half way. Bake cones about 20 to 25 minutes. Cake should spring back when lightly pressed with finger.
Cool on wire rack for 30 minutes.
Remove foil from cones. Frost top with frosting of your choice. Decorate with candy sprinkles.
NOTE: Any cake flavor can be used.
