Cherry Sauce for Ham Steaks Recipe

Add spice and a touch of vinegar to preserves for a quick cherry sauce for ham.

Ingredients
  • 2 Cook's® Bone-in Ham Steaks (about 1 pound each)
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • jar Bing Cherry Preserves
Directions
  • Combine preserves, vinegar, cinnamon and nutmeg in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
  • Prepare ham steaks according to package directions. Serve cherry sauce over ham.
