Crocked Pot Roast Recipe

  • serves 6
  • 1 bottom round roast (3-4 pounds)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 package dry beefy onion soup
  • 6 carrots, peeled and trimmed
  • 24 new potatoes whole (little)
  • 3 onions, peeled and halved
1. Place onions in bottom of crock pot; cover with potatoes and carrots.

2. Mix together the garlic salt and pepper. Rub all over the roast.

Heat oil to medium in a large skillet. Sear meat for 3 minutes per side.

3. Put roast on top of veggies in crock pot. Sprinkle the dry soup on top of meat and around edges of the veggies. Put the cover on and don't lift it back up for at least 9-10 hours. Cook on LOW.
