Frosting:
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. evaporated milk
1/8 C. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. vanilla
1/4 C. nuts
powdered sugar
Combine sugar, milk, shortening, salt and vanilla. Beat well and add powdered sugar until thick enough to spread. Spread on cake and sprinkle with nuts.
