Shut Up and Eat Cherry Mash Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 12 sized marshmallows (regular)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cherry chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 ounces chopped Spanish peanuts
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
Directions
In a 3 quart sauce pan boil sugar, milk, butter, marshmallows and salt for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add cherry chips, vanilla and 1/2 of the chopped peanuts. Spread in an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. In a sauce pan over very low heat combine milk chocolate chips, peanut butter and the remaining 1/2 of the chopped peanuts. When melted pour evenly over the first layer. Cool. Cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
