FRIED HOT WATER CORNBREAD Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups corn meal (plain)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 whole egg (or 2 T. buttermilk)
Directions
Mix and shape into patties. Fry in hot oil.
