Ingredients
6 cups flour
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
2 1/2 cups buttermilk.
Directions
Mix dry ingredients and add buttermilk. Stir with wooden spoon. (Doesn't need to be smooth) Pour out on counter and knead for a minute or so. Divide dough in two loaves. (Round) Pat to flatten a little. Place on large baking sheet. Sprinkle flour on top of each loaf. With sharp knife, slit the sign of the cross in each one. Allow to rest for 10 minutes. Bake on middle rack at 375° for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
