Little Rye Bread Things Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound hot & zesty sausage
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 3 green onions
  • 3 giant chopped mushrooms
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese (1/2 package)
  • 1 package loaf of small (3 inch square) rye bread from the deli
Directions
Brown sausage and ground beef, drain. Add onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted. Place slices of rye bread on a shallow baking sheet. Spoon sausage mixture onto each slice of bread. Broil 3 to 4 minutes, serve warm.
