Canned Picante Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 quarts peeled ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 2 cups chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 5 chopped jalapeno pepper
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
Directions
In large pot combine all ingredients cook for 50-60 minutes. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal Immediately.
