Stuffed Peppers 43 Recipe

  • 6 green peppers, tops and seeds removed (medium)
  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can whole corn, drained or 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounce can)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup Steak Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
In a large pot over medium heat, blanch peppers in boiling salted water for 3-5 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water; set aside. In a skillet over medium heat, brown beef and onion. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Loosely stuff into peppers, place in a 8 inch square baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
